These are all results of your biochemical mechanisms hardwired into our body. The reason you are lazy after eating is because your body is telling you that "ok, you got your energy no need to waste it". Then your body releases insulin... Your not doing nothing with that energy. It is being converted into direct energy and the rest into fat storage, steroids, and other proteins. The reason you have energy when you go to sleep with no food is because of the release of grenhlin and epinephrine. These initiate the "im hungry go get fucking food response"..

All energy comes from fusion from stars. Plants convert photosynthetic energy into chemical energy, we convert chemical energy into mechanical energy. process repeats..

Energy is never created nor destroyed.. just recycled..

unless your in a black hole..

humans are most adept at noticing that which is contrasting, it is the nature of observation, the muse of theater irony both the comedies and the tragedies, in the past it was the demigod Satyr, it is the yin and yang. This is the simplest of all structures from the smallest to the largest, as above so below.  Vsauce does an amazing job in his video "what is the brightest thing in the universe"

-we get our energy from food, but eat too much and you'll feel sleepy. the opposite is also true, go to bed hungry and you'll have difficulty to sleep.

We'll you figure.. The brain needs food to work properly and your brain is "working" while sleeping.. I don't know how else to word that really lol
