Suboxone and getting high, can it be done I know it can!

Who here thinks you can't get high off of suboxone, I am sure you all know you can off of subutext, but the pharmaceutical companies pulled the wool over the FDA's eyes on this one, unless they knew but did not care!

Yes you can with a low opiod tolerance. I was able to in the beginning. The ones who say you can't are in denial.

Well, Yes and no, because even though people are going to beg to say I am wrong, I take 6 hydros 10/500 a day and can still do it, but maybe because that is not heroin? And I have never been sent into prec. Withdrawals doing this, just sped like a mofo, or other times got high like heroin, strange drug this is!

I had a heavy habit and it still got me off. You can also inject it, the nalaxone doesn't do shit

Hell yeah, if someone isn't an opiate addict and takes 1 or 2 mg of suboxone they will be loaded. Even an opiate addict feels a sense of relief and wellbeing off Subs. The weird thing is less is more with Bupe, in terms of getting high. If I take 4 MG, I get a better feeling than if I take 8. At higher doses it becomes an antagonist. At lower doses it is an Agonist.

Suboxone is so much more effective for dealing with opiate addiction than methadone it's ridiculous they still use methadone at all for addiction. Methadone should be reserved as a pain management pill, not addiction treatment. Done is just a lot cheaper, so that's why it is still around in the treatment world. Suboxone will break the bank if you don't have insurance.

yes, they could get you high with a low tolerance to opiates.. but even so, the high is NOTHING compared to morphine and other opiates :shrug:

Wrong, I just did 7 10/500 hydros and a quarter strip sub, and I am speeding hard core, it's strange how hydros alone will do that and subs too, but I have also had them give me the nods!

And I know wtf I am talking about I have banged heroin way to many times to count, morphine does not compare IMO!

About a month after I quit optiates my friend gave me 2 suboxone "wafers."

I took half of one and was high to the point where it was uncomfortable, so yes, you can get high off of it without a tolerance.

Lucky you, try not to get one, I spent the last three days sick as fuck because of it, 7 hydros10/325 hardly do shit, but when you dabble with the hard core shit I guess that is what you get! Like I said 7 10/325 and a quarter strip, no pain or anymore w/drawals! Plus no prec. W/d, I guess I am lucky on that!

Hey man, a lot of people here on the shroomery have had problems with opiates. I personally had a 350-400mg a day of oxycodone habit  for 4 years(would've done more if I had more money). Now I've been clean for 8 years.

I wish you the best luck getting clean. You will not believe at how much better life is when you don't depend on a substance to go about every day activities. :peace: & :heart:

My only advice is to not go the suboxone or subutex route. Just go cold turkey...my 2 cents.

This. To me it doesn't even feel like an opiate buzz, it feels more stimulating.

Yeah, I know it is sucks! But I had hip surgery and can't hardly walk w/o them!

I got to thinking maybe it was the meds telling me this, but I went cold turkey for a month and it sucked worst than being addicted to opiates! I could not hardly get out of bed! But Ty for the concern, very considerate of you!

If the cold turkey route continuously fails and you relapse, then give Suboxone a try. It is extremely easy to taper down on IME. Cold turkey is great for strong willed peoole, but I've found most opiate addicts pretty weak in this department. Much respect to you Kronik for making it work. In my experience Suboxone allows one to lose the addictive habits and begin living a normal life, all while comfortably lowering your dose. It literally saved my life after years of attending expensive rehabs, trying methadone, and cold turkey. Subs worked the best for me, but were all different

No worries. Just rooting for you to get better, I know the feeling of hopelessness, helplessness, and pain when you're addicted.

Also what magicman said, the sub route does work for a lot of people, but I still wouldn't recommend it. I probably "quit" cold turkey at least 20-30 times before I actually really quit. Subs were just coming out at the time when I quit though, so it's a bit different nowadays I guess. Either way. Wish you the best man.
