We do know everything about it, because we made it up lol...what else is there to know

Its simple, time is the documentation of the past and the projection of the future...it exists nowhere else but in our thoughts...if you look around the only things changing are physical and because of some other physical force. Im asking you to find where time is because it's nowhere. its only in our heads, therefore without humans it doesn't exist.

It exists in my memories. 5 minutes ago i was jacking off, 3 minutes ago i was texting, 20 seconds ago i was looking at my tv, 3 seconds ago i wrote some of this post. I put time on a timeline, another measurement of this thing called time.

kingklick that's exactly what I said...it exists only in memories (thoughts). The ONLY reason it exists is because there is something to measure it. It STARTS existing the moment  it is measured...it seems pretty simple to me that without a human brain, it just doesn't exist.

Time is a dimension, there are entire fields of study devoted to it.

you certainly can't apply it to the atmosphere, that's ridiculous. but you can apply it to anything you measure. like size. we say somethings "small" but that's only relative to something that you say is big. and we don't even know how big the universe truly is or whats beyond it. we have no idea what big is, it just keeps going.

You can't measure something that doesn't exist.


i see it like this

a human was born...a whole race of them...shit happened and they remembered all this shit, it was still there in their minds and it led to what was happening in the present, so it seemed legit. at the same time they thought about how to prepare for what might happen...so even though everything that was happening was always then but had different circumstances, they saw it as this different place and couldn't describe that place other than "the past" they literally made up this word if you think about it. those circumstances (everything that existed in the place it was in) were JUST CIRCUMSTANCES, not in a different place...it was always right there wasn't it? the only difference in the world from then to now was different circumstances (but morphed, cause and effect, in the same place.) they needed some type of timeline to document these 2 places that were constantly in their mind (past and future) we lived and continue to live in these 2 places which is why we think they're real. We hang on to the past, and worry about the future.

Not everything that exists is made up of elements :/ And time is more than a concept its a thing that actually happens. It's only a concept in the sense that any word is a concept. You have a weird definition of 'existence' if all it means to you is what is made up of matter.

No electrons have no fixed location. Everything that exists in the entire universe only exists in their affects. 'Matter' is a description of a collective type of phenomena. So is time. So is energy. So are electrons. They don't need locations or to be made up of certain stuff.

No, there are people who can tell you all about one, but as of this moment there is no one in this world who can show you an electron. Its only recently that you could be shown an atom. Yet regardless of what we can see we can infer its existence due to massive amounts of supporting evidence.
