I used to live in a predominantly African American area.
One day riding through town, my very blonde friend says they should open a Wing Stop (basically a food stand specifically for chicken wings). I know its stereotypical, but I said "yeah, they'd make bank selling chicken in a black community." To which she replied, serious as fuck:

"They don't sell chicken, just wings!"

Yeah, that's gotta be one of the dumbest.


I mean, it's great and all, it has tons of benefits and the side effects are minimal, but if you use it too heavily you'll start to have slower reactions and be less mentally sharp.
I feel much sharper after not using for 2 days. But it bothers me how many people have to have an extreme position, whether it be "it's evil, it's a sin, it gives you cancer and lowers you IQ" or "It's completely harmless, have as much as you can whenever you can".
A toke here and there is usually more good than harm, but toking perpetually throughout the day everyday is gonna be more harm than good for most people. Some people can handle it just fine without becoming unproductive, but not everybody can. Sometimes I can't. That doesn't mean I should never use it, it just means I shouldn't abuse it. But I suppose abuse is in the eye of the beholder, so person-to-person, every situation is unique.

When I was in Costa Rica with my then BF at the time he sees the guys selling the bags of coconut juice/water. He says "that looks like water." I explain to him how astringent it is and don't get one etc...he then says to me, "you mean it is not sweet and delicious? Isn't coco lopez the stuff that is in coconuts?"

He thought that sweet yummy stuff called coco lopez you make pina coladas out of was in coconuts! He had never ever bought a coconut from the store and cracked it open, and he had kids too! In his defense he hated coconut anyway. I still rag him to this day about that! LOLOL!

"Oh my god I can't believe how fast this Del Sol is!" (A slow ass car that was completely stock except for an APC wing incorrectly installed on the back)

"Did you know that a year is meaningless? It doesn't actually represent anything. That's why different cultures have different new years dates." A girl tried to convince me of this on a date. It was probably really a test in retrospect, or at least I hope so.
