Fluoxetine (prozac), poor sleep, herbal supplements?

This is for my workmate who was prescribed prozac around a month ago. The doctor has her on 20mg, and will possibly up it and/or change it.
Now she is not depressed, just slightly overwhelmed sometimes. She's 22 and has an old head on her shoulders. She is a chef and has been in the same job for three years so I reckon a change of scenery is what she needs. She has a stable relationship and everybody loves her. Her family life is cool and there are no triggers.
The problem is she can't sleep at night/ has night tremors due to the tablets.
We've chatted and she's ok with herself mentally - she'd like to see if she can get the dose lowered. The doctor is a family doctor and has the whole family are on prozac due to some hereditary imbalance or something (whatever).
Are there any herbal supplements or methods she could take for sleep?
I have been on countless anti - D's myself in the recent past and have told her to start excersizing, eating right and all of the other things.
Oil of evening primrose is a one I always suggest, but obviously I don't know her body chemistry so not sure how effective it would be.
Sorry for the long post, but I would hate to see her go down the route of being put on tons of tablets for no reason, when it could just be a lifestyle change that is needed, or just a holiday or something. I am the only person she knows who has really any good and bad experience of anti-depressants and want to make sure she knows the dangers of it, as her family don't know any different.
Many thanks

There are two over the counter sleep supliments that come to mind right away for me, the first being melatonin and the second valerian. Valerian is personally the one that I like to use but I have friends that swear by melatonin. Another thing that should help a great deal more than anything else that I can think of is weed. Although that might be a bit more difficult for her living in the UK, than it would be for me here in Colorado.

Exercise makes sleeping a lot easier.
