depends n your internet connection. let's assume DSL/Cable. This means your modem has an ethernet WAN (Cable or Phone line) and LAN Port. Connect the LAN port on your modem to the UPLINK port on the switch (You may have to depress or slide a switch to make a port the uplink port). Cannect each computer's NIC to the swicth's ports. That's it for physical connections. The rest is specific to your internet provider. A router makes the whole process simpler and safer (firewall). It Goes Modem>Router>Switch. You set the coimputer IP addresses to an internal network range such as 192.168.0.XXX and configure the router as the gateway. Have fun, there's plenty of info to be found.

Hmm, alright...It's just kind of weird, I've had it up and working twice, all 3 computers linked up, sharing the internet connection and i dunno what happened it just quit working...I'm just going to get a router tomorrow anyway...
