if you do not have a store in any reasonable distance then go to your neighbour and say you are cooking and need to borrow a thermometer
if you do not have a neighbour in any reasonable distance then go outside

Holy crap, if your not willing to do things right don't bother.  You were told straw needs to be properly pasteurized to use, you can't properly pasteurize without a thermometer.  So you have two choices: 1. get a cab to the store to buy a thermometer  2. don't use straw.  Don't wate your fucking time if you're not going to do it right!  :smirk:

Any other way to starile my straw than on stove, because I have no thermometer to get 170 in the pot. Can I do the same stuff but put the pot in the oven on 170?

yes. or boil a big ass pot of water, leave it 5-10 minutes then put the bag of straw in and leave it to cool down. better than nothing if you want to try.

:wink:or you could get a thermometer. a candy-t is good. you got one?
