I have not done mescaline in any form, but I have read that you usually vomit about 30 mins after ingesting, then you trip your ass off.

A friend of mine has bad heartburn, because I guess the sphincter connecting his throat and stomach never closes. So, one of the things that can fix such a problem is an operation where they twist the asophegus (spelling?) just above the stomach so it kind of regulates itself. The upside is no more heartburn, the downside is nothing ever comes up. No burps, hiccups, or vomit.

Here is my question: What would happen if he had gotten that surgery (he didnt) and then ate some mescaline? Would he get sick? Would he trip really hard? something else?

He'd trip but also feel so sick that he couldn't move for 12-24 hours.

Depends how sensitive he is to cactus/mescaline.
