Alternative news TV show

I'm in the process of writing a script for an alternative news show. I'm in Canada so i'm trying to put together headline stories that are relevant and somewhat local. What type of things would you like to see/hear about in an alternative news program?
BTW I have most of this script layed out already, I'm just interested in other peoples ideas of alternative news they'd like to see.
