Visual effects during sobriety intensified after smokin hash

I don't trip very often at all, but i have noticed after-mages and warping on patterened surfaces if I concentrate.  I've smoked hash a couple times since my last trip, and each time, I've noticed an intensification of those visual disturbances in the subsequent days.  I'm not sure if thats related or not.  I've been getting purple halos around light objects, and patterened surfaces (popcorn ceilings, polka dotted surfaces, etc.) will bend, twist, morph, very subtly.  This hasn't affected me in an averse way at all; in fact, like many people say, I rather enjoy it :grin:  I just wonder if there is a correlation between smoking hash, because I really notice the effects strengthening in the days after I've done it.

i find that when i smoke good hash i trip a bit. see stuff in the corner of my eyes and minor trip outs.

I'm talking about effects persisting long after the drugs have worn off.

You have your mind connected with hash with a trip. There for you have a mild flashbacks because of that connection.

why would that be? i've yet to smoke pot while tripping (actually I always try to abstain from any substances for about a week before my trips)

THC is an indole ring alkaloid. So is psilocybin , LSD, etc...
Hash and psychadelics are in the same family bro.

EvilEye , Correct me if i'm wrong but Thc isn't an alkaloid...it doesnt contain nitrogen.

UPDATE: I haven't smoked pot or hash for that matter in about a week, and the visual effects aren't as apparent. I can find em if I consciously "look for them" (cmon ceiling, do that thing you do). But other than that, they're conspicuously absent. Weird.
