Hello people. I recently planted some a white widow and cotton candy plant. However, the cotton candy doesn't look so great.. it lost one of it's oval shaped leaves, and has a very tiny hole in it's other leaf. Do you guys think my little girl will be okay? I found that I have ants in the pots, and so i have put cinnamon in the pots to hopefully cast them away. here are the pictures. It has been about 2 weeks sense the initial planting after germination.

losing a cotyledon is not that big of a deal
Step one, stop worrying so much. Its a plant, give it decent conditions and it will thrive.
Step two, get rid of those fucking ants, you never know when one might migrate a herd of aphids into your situation.

Wow , hold on a second. These are not just plants, these are my babies. Nothing short or less then that. As a father, i have all the right to worry about the health of my babies.
Also a question i forgot to ask.. I recieved the seeds for those plants in good condition, however there was a question mark on the package of the seeds.. should i be worried?

Also, it wasn't meant as a negative. I was merely expressing the fact that this plant has been here evolving for a long time without you. Through thick or thin, even with marginal conditions, its probably going to do well.
I can recount some horror stories with you to bolster your confidence.
I once put a harvested pot plant stump in my back yard. My housemate repeatedly poured hot bacon grease into the pot FOR MONTHS. Eventually the fucker put out a growth tip and i was like bacon weed!
I mean i wouldn't do that as my first grow either, but it just goes to show you the amount of abuse a plant can realistically take.

that's kind of unbelievable, although it does give me hope.
Still, should i not continue to grow these plants? the question mark on the package is really making me paranoid.
