A friend was getting rid of a pregnant cat (Suki) so I decided to adopt her, knowing very well that most people will take kittens but not an adult cat.

I don't frequent the Pub anymore so I guess I missed this thread.  Heres a pic I uploaded 9 years ago.  The cat on the top died peacefully in the night last year at age 18.  The cat on the bottom is still alive at age 17 and seems healthy enough to live well into her 20s.

We lost our 15 year old cat this year :frown: she just went off into the woods and we never saw her again. Probably wanted to be alone in her last moments, cats are so special like that.
It's as if she didn't want us to be in pain by seeing her body.
