I live in south australia these shrooms were found in a eucalyptus forsest on some mulch. They all stain blue i am thinking they are psilocybe subrareaginosas.

It looks like some of the stems stained a greyish/purple color,
-And some of the caps stained a reddish color.

If you want to know what they are, follow the instructions in the sticky threads at the top of the forum.

Start by getting a spore print (on white paper). Then, let us know about the things we can't tell from looking a the photos. are parts of them slimy or sticky? Do they have a distinctive odor?


In the meantime, you say you've eaten some of them. :shake: Congratulations, you've violated the first rule about eating mushrooms.

NEVER EAT AN UNIDENTIFIED MUSHROOM.

Doing things like that is exactly the sort of thing that gets people nominated for Darwin Awards.

Just glancing at your mushrooms, they're closer looking to Inocybe than Psilocybe. Inocybes are very poisonous - they have caused fatalities.

Let us know if you've won a trip to the local emergency room with this stunt.

Lysergictripper, those mushrooms look like they could be something deadly. Hope you're not busy puking your brains out with a failing liver right now.
