hey I just found these in a cow field in some crap. they're bruising slight blue. tehy're light brown with dark brown gills, dark brown veil. i didn't get to take a spore print yet. the caps are like 1" to 3" across. a little help would be nice.

Id agree with Psiocybe cubensis ("The" magic mushroom).

Especially since your in Alabama and they were growing from cow patties.

Make sure they are all the same in that they ALL bruise blue, have a purple-brown spore deposit on the veil and have a purple-brown sporeprint. They should smell pretty strongly like a mushroom...a mushroom which has a very interesting odor..

Good find.

wow, gorgeous finds indeeed- Where abouts in Bama did you find these? I've got a few friends around the Bm'ham area who have also had luck finding cubes as well. Are you near B'ham at all?

Is there any way you could take some pics of the habitat you found these bad boys in? I'm sure everyone would enjoy that.
