Our universe might still be inside of the event horizon of the white hole that spawned this universe. Everything inside of this universe might be moving towards the event horizon of the white hole we emerged from.  Black holes in this universe have merely reached the event horizon of the white hole they were spawned from.

why there is reality and patterned, law-like consistency at all, rather than noise or non-reality is not a question physics answers. It's a question physics presupposes an answer to in order to provide other answers.

It is interesting that if you measure the complexity of galactic systems, or solar systems, it is much lower than the complexity of an ecosystem, a modern city, or a human brain. The amount of complexity has been accelerating here on earth lately, and right now the amount of complexity is quite high here, even on a cosmological scale. If complexity can be correlated with closeness to the event horizon I believe we are moving towards, then we might be very close to it indeed.

What do you define as complexity? Its impossible to quantify how complex something we can't/don't understand (is)

You might measure things like... how many units are in the system, how many different types of units are in the system, how many units is each unit connected to ( on average ), how many ways can one unit communicate with another unit ( on average ), and so on.

A simple system generally has few types of units, they have few connections, and they can communicate with each other in few ways. A complex system generally has many types of units, they have many connections, and they can communicate with each other in many ways.

Anyhow.. people working with complexity theory have developed formulas for determining the complexity of systems.

What about measuring organization instead of complexity, do you think the results would be directly proportional? Also considering that DNA likes to put things in order, the organisms themselves would contribute to both complexity and order.

It appears the rest of the universe is descending into chaos whereas our world seems to becoming more ordered.
