how do i do this with no bluetooth in the car?

is there a certain adapter i can buy?

Fm modulator.

They make one you hard wire in the car. Gives you better sound. Pretty easy install.

Or yo can buy one just for the I phone. You just set the radio to 88.5 and it will pick up the music

Unless you have an aux on your radio

An aux input would sound best. That's only an option if your radio has the auxiliary option

FM modulators are less consistent and the difference isn't really noticeable, so I prefer the cassette adapters when possible. Looks like it doesn't matter though.

ok so im looking at fm modulators and alot of them people are saying work super well or are complete garbage

who makes the best one? i play my music LOUD

Yeah you should be able to get a mediocre head unit with an aux in for not much money. Installation will be cheap on a Civic too (if you don't know someone that can do it for you).

If you're a dumbass with that stuff then it would require taking it to a car audio shop and having them install it for you. It won't cost that much, and in the long run it's much more convenient. Or if you know a friend that is good with that stuff they can probably do it for free for you.

Maybe. But most likely not, you might just need to buy a wire harness adapter for your model civic, which I am sure is probably cheap and easy to find.
It should be pretty easy..It's most likely just removing some screws, popping it out and replacing, you might need a wiring harness. I'd do some research, but if you have no clue then get someone else to do it.
On modern cars there's a lot things that can run through the stereo can bus, so if you're completely clueless then it's probably best to have a professional do it or someone who knows car audio.
However I don't know your model car but a lot of aftermarket head units are basically plug and play, but it can be different for different cars.. but civics are pretty basic.
