I think behind close doors the super powers might just be toying with the global media though. They are probably all in it together but there's no way to be sure.

Of course we(superpowers) have different interests and allies but i think these differences in agenda are being smoothed out in a painfully slow bureaucratic process. The current wars are just a necessary aspect of the human experience .We can only hope it doesn't escalate into a global conflict(even though it kind of is, we are still far from foreign harm).

One super power will eventually make a mistake and the shit will hit the fan.

I hope i am wrong.

I should explain further that the digital information and working knowledge he carried is compromised the moment it leaves secure/NSA networks and, in this case, the borders of the USA, particularly under the pretense of being a whistle blower.

Shut the fuck up. It's emparative that their actions are all over the media both for their "protection" and because what that have done and are doing is incredibly important for all of us. It's sad that so many do not see that.

One name could be thousands. Edward Snowden. The NSA's amazing security couldn't stop a person working for a consulting firm so how the fuck do you assume others possibly thousands of people couldn't do the same thing he did?

in that interview with him, the interview mentions that as a nsa conference it was overheard someone say they should "black bag him" or something like that.  The director of the nsa responded that spy's don't talk like that.  Snowden told the interviewer they totally do talk like that, the the nsa favors action without consideration of legality or consequence.  I thought that was the most interesting thing he said.  You'd have to have been retarded to not already assume they monitor all communication.
