the only reason the government is prosecuting him is because he showed the public how fucked up our government is and now they will suffer from this. I'm sure they will do everything they can to smear him but that just shows how right Snowden is.

He did absolutely nothing good for my country Are you not aware that he has spilled other information beyond a completely legal data-mining operation that was already pretty much known about?  Don't you remember the press getting all uproary about it when Bush was President?  Of course, now that it has gone on for many years and Obama is President they mutter nary a peep of outrage.  The program has been upheld as legal.  What makes you think some judge (a part of the government) won't grant a warrant? 

I'm gonna say this again for all you children.  Don't put anything in writing or say anything on the phone if you don't want to see it in court someday.  This goes double for dingbats who use drugs but are stupid about hiding it.  It isn't that fucking hard.

Zappa doesnt understand protective laws like that. Hes got the childish thought process that what his is his and he can do whatever he damn well pleases with it, and anyone else by extension. Not exactly the best way to manage the going ons of 7 billion people.

Our data minining program most certainly is not legal in many of the countries it was done in.  Transparency is important to a lot of us, this type of shit should be out there.  All this insanity that has gotten out of hand post 9/11 has to stop because our freedom is worth a lot more than potentially saving a few thousand lives.  Its pointless to argue though, no one's opinions here are going to change.  This country is fucked, and the assholes that are ruining it are the people that trust our politicians to do the right thing.  100 years from now unless something changes we won't have any privacy anymore.  Between the fucking drones, satellite imaging, face recognition software, NSA data mining, and god only knows what else.  Its so sad to see so many care so little about our freedom.  This country is in a sad state.

Life is all politics and i think that the recent "transparency"(which is really just a result of advancing technology) will help to make developed nations a better place to live.

Or we'll just nuke each other.

I don't and many people never do yet their metadata is stored and a painting of your life and daily
duties and activities IS created. All it takes is a conversation with someone who MAY INDEED be
cause for concern for authorities. And from there on out you may be targeted without even knowing.

Not to mention that all of your stored data, whatever it is that have on you is now accessible
to anyone who knows what their doing. Your information is not being protected by the government.

Yet mother fucking people like you have a simple answer. Just don't use the phone or internet ever.
