, which can only be told apart by looking at their spores under a microscope (microscopic differences only). They are all said to be edible, but like the Lizard King already stated, they are (all seperate specie of Old Man of The Woods) usually too beat up by the bugs to take home and cook. And like the Gumbydude stated, your younger specimens (pictured at the bottom) look good enough to eats.
