4/29 id's SE Louisiana Agaricus campestris?
    #18198645 -

Went out hunting Sunday at the Burden Center in Baton Rouge and found some interesting (for me) mushrooms. I'd like a confirmation on what I think is Agaricus campestris and some id's on some others that are non edible I'm pretty sure. No actives as they wouldn't be growing here. Here are the pics, thanks for any assistance!

1. I'm pretty sure it's chlorophyllum molybdites, gills started white but were turnin greenish before I got home. Bruised dark red. This particular specimen was bigger than my hand!

2. Suspected Agaricus campestris. Gills started white, turned pinkish, then finally brown as spores dropped. Bruised red and dropped a brown spore print.

3. Not sure what this is. Yellowish white coloration. Growing in leaf litter under oaks.

Same specimens one day later

4. Also unsure, were a little dried out. Growing on wood chips

Sorry for the pic quality, my camera died and I used my horrible little phone camera, thanks again for any assistance!

1) You got it!
2) certainly Agaricus, maybe A. alligator?
3) another Agaricus?? The photos are kindy blurry/overexposed
4) Not sure, sorry. Pretty distinctive though so someone should be able to tell you.

Nice. The long skinny stem and ring made me unsure. Stupid polyphyletic genus :shakefist:

Thanks a ton guys! The first Agaricus had no scent and was also growing in the wood chips under the oaks. It seemed to match the description of campestris but could very well be alligator.

Had no idea the yellowish one was Agaricus too, couldn't get it to print but I'm guessing it's also brown since the gills were the next day. Wonder if it's edible? It didn't bruise. I also found some of them in the grass next to the leaf litter/chips under the oaks.

Agrocybe huh? That seems right. Thanks again guys!
