Different wavelengths
    #18169953 -

Do you ever find yourself reading someone's post or talking to someone in life, maybe in an unlikely situation, to find you are interpreting only what you think and they are interpreting only what they think such that you're basically not even talking to one another?

Like I read posts on here and go, oh, wait a second, they are in a totally different universe or something, because that's not at all what I'm talking about, but I can see how I might have once seen it that way, if I was being particularly linear etc.?

Perceptually it's a different wavelength, they are seemingly caught in something that is not the case for me. All I have really done is apprehended the present. Here, what I am thinking doesn't seem to be shared by others I meet/talk to.

Insanity, wavelengths, higher consciousness?

Most interactions are only interpreted from the frame of reference the people are in. Different frame of reference (determined by past experience) means different interpretation. No way around it except to be as clear and concise as possible.

I have great pity for all the others here. I'm up in the rarified air looking down on them. It's sooooo lonely up here.

I think that if what you thought was completely logical and objective, or rational then one might predict what you think. It is that the purely rational leads to predetermination, but within the chaos of randomness, reality appears to be up for grabs.

How much do we depend on thoughts and logic to determine reality?

Do thoughts play a part in reality, or the perception of?

That's a simile, using like or as.

A metaphor wouldn't have like or as.

I learned it again in Composition II.

Yeah kind of like you and me.  I speak my mind rant and all, you talk in largely psychobabble and a dreamlike state to my ears.  Yet, I seek out your posts for creative dissonance and like them all the same.  Opposites attract, or we both spend time in our backyards on different sides of the world.
