how early can i prepare the cake jars and sterilize them

yes how early can i mix my cakes and sterilize the jars before actually injecting with spore syringe?
and can i ground my own brown rice out of the box its riceland extra long grain rice(natural brown rice)?
and just to double check what is the right temp for the time their in the jar?

wait about 6 hours until innoculating sterilized jars.

and yes, you can ground your own brown rice out of the box. i get lb. bags for .99 and ground it myself, cheaper than that good boxed shit.

i think 85 degrees while colonizing, can't remember. i just stick mine in the garage, and they do fine.
