Has anyone done, held or written rituals while on shrooms?

I am a polytheist pagan and have done many rituals. They usually follow the same format for each ritual but the meditation, path working, libations, story of the season, hyms, invocations change.

This is my typical ritual layout:
Precession
consecration of tools on the alter
casting circle
Call the elements
story of the season (if relevent)
Invocation
Hyms
Meditation, path working and spells
Offering to gods
Libations
Thanks and far well to deity's if called
Thanks and farewell to elements
Closing of the circle
Grounding

I have recently started taking shrooms and have been having spiritual experiences. I could imagine how these can enhance rituals.

Has anyone done rituals or written rituals or know of rituals including shrooms or how they can be used in a ritual?

Ah yes, psychedelics rituals. First of all tread lightly. Rituals like this should take place maximum once a year.

I advise you to be ready to improvise and explore the true nature of magic and ritual in general. Especially if you plan on taking higher doses.

Lower doses could be used as a general booster for your regular ritual schemes. But really, the high doses is what you wanna aim for. Those rituals become adventures.

I once initiated a ritual that completely blew my mind to smithereens. To this day it is in full effect, i feel it with my very essence.

Good times. Haven't tripped in a while now though.

They mix well, but differently from what you'd first expect. It actually gives you a deeper appreciation and understanding of ritualistic behaviour.

Excerpts of inner dialogue III-V-VIII:

"Im no saint, but I do have genuine intentions."
"So you believe in intensions?"
"No. I believe in being genuine."

"The goal is to become more child-like, and less child-ish."

It's comforting to know other people have their own rituals :sun:

I have my own preparations that take place months before actually drinking mushroom tea...it lasts all the way through the journey and usually long after.
