I don't think you have anything thing to worry about, the blueing is just the psylicin oxidizing in the mushroom. Just make sure you keep them in that bag with the damp rid for a week or so to make sure they are totally dry, longer if you like. I am by far no expert so if I am wrong, someone please correct me and guide me down the correct path.

if your general environment is not humid (below 50 %.. better around 20%)
then you can dry them hanging in front of a fan efficently, very dry in a day or so, ready to put in a dissicant chamber..
if you cut them in half (cut the bottom and gently pull apart) they dry much much faster..

thanks for everyones replys but my problem isn't shrooms aborting .... I put 3 fat asses in front of a fan for a day the stems looked normal but when i put them in the bag (look at first post) after a day the stems turned almost a black color, very very dark blue the damp-rid also started to retain water. today the shrooms look like almost a black blue and they are really slimmy. they also have a thick earthy almost sour smell to them I put them back under a fan...will they be safe to eat or are they rotting before my eyes (this is my first attempt at growing, using pf tek
I would really appreciate some feedback!!!

How much did you handle them when putting them in the bag? The blueing is also from bruising. Any area that gets bruised also blues even more when you dry them if the drying isn't incredibly rapid.

if they smell "bad" you may have a problem..

sounds to me like you may have something bad..let the humidity get too high in your dessicant chamber(ie its not built correctly) and that allowed for baaad stuff.. anyway:
when you put them in front of the fan, wait till they are nearly COMPLETELY dry.. not when the outside is dry, when they feel firm and crunchy.. that is when you put them in teh chamber..
