Interested in whether or not this works.  I drink absinthe all the time and it doesn't seem to be active orally, just a fine tasting herbal spirit.  I make mugwort tea fairly often and it seems to have a slight euphoria and sedative effect, I'd be interested in making wormwood tea and seeing how that works, it would probably have a lot more thujone than absinthe, which only has trace amounts. :shrug:

Looking into it a bit more it looks like thujone in high doses is neurotoxic and causes convulsions and death, so it's not be the best thing to experiment with.  :lol:  I can say from plenty of experience with genuine absinthe, in low doses thujone doesn't do shit, so it's probably best to just leave this herb alone.  The high you'd get is not likely to be very psychedelic and you risk poisoning yourself. :thumbdown:

I have herd from people that sold it ( I haven't done any research on my own) that smoking it isn't a good idea.  Wormwood can cause renal failure perhaps...anyhoo...If you ingest/smoke enough to make yourself trip you aren't going to live.
Do some research before smoking or eating it.
