Hasn't been true in my experience. As far as I can tell everyone has suffered but very few if any do not take this thing called life personally.

What is Forbearance.  Many people say the word.

Question: What does Forbearance mean to you.


Meant in terms of interpersonal conflict actually.

I don't think anyone has an easy life. I don't think life is easy. I think of the Greek myth where Zeus fills a jar either half-way or not at all and sets it on the doorstep of a newborns home. In this way the Greeks acknowledged that some people have a "glass half-full" and others get nothing at all. But no one gets totally filled up.

Forbearance to me would mean bearing in advance. In my personal life it would symbolize bearing the weight of dying in advance to actually being dead. Each and every moment I am dying and I have to bear that. But I am not dead. So I am bearing this burden in advance.

I could have all the money and opportunity in the world and I would still have this burden to bear.

It lessons my interpersonal conflict to actively take on this burden
and increases it to put it off

When a person is practicing Forbearance during interpersonal conflict they are Consciously deciding to not take things personally.

Does this appear to you to relate to Enlightenment in general and Enlightenment Quality in Particular.

This person would say that Good Forbearance means Stable Enlightenment and not at all likely to fall.

Falun Dafa is practiced by hundreds of millions of people in China.

China has a history of Enlightenment Schools that go back (rather "conservative estimate") 7 thousand years (probably "much farther").


Do you think that several hundred million Chinese people who have a culture that is rich with Upright Cultivation Practices might know what they are talking about.
