I heard the Chinese say that sperm is the sexual energy of life

I bet if you drink your own cum you'll live forever, Jesus said so

Read it, its in the bible, it says that jesus drinks from the fountain of youth and he will raise again to uphold his glory

he basically drinks a fountain of his cum... its a true story. Its funny to know all Christians are following a cum guzzler.

if you're selectively choosing parts of the bible to interpret as literal truth, you're as bad as the creationists.

My sister-in-law and her husband she's a christian and he's a Jew, talk about a huge contradiction. They make it work. Why does your ole lady need to accept your beliefs? She is her own person, she needs to accept you, even if you disagree you can still accept each other for he way you are. Trying to impose your beliefs whatever they are on someone else is fucked in the first place. If you care about each other who cares that you have different views on things? now if she is trying to push all this shit on you that is a whole different thing, but sharing some different ideology shouldn't be a reason to end a six year relationship IMO.

Of course I'm not selective.... the bible is filled with stories of hookers, drugs, murder and hate on different folk

But if you think I'm being serious..... :ilold:

I think it could work but she shouldn't be saying the kids have to be Christian. That's up to them to decide, not be forced into. I was raised going to church every sunday morning and wed.  nights, I don't exactly believe like the church does. I'm sorry but no matter how hard they try I will not choose to believe that some guy got swallowed up by a damn whale and shot out onto the beach. Or the many other outrageous stories that come from the bible.

My mother goes to church every sunday still though and my daughter started wanting to go with her probably out of curiosity of what grandma does there. So I let her go, she has a lot of fun there. My husband however thinks I should not let her go because they are brainwashing her or forcing her to believe things that aren't true. But for me, I think it does not hurt her to go and when she gets older she can decide on her own wether to believe or not. I never hide my beliefs from her so she knows that not everyone believes the same thing. Kinda like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny etc. When she gets older she realizes these things do not exist. She will find out the same about Christianity too.

She is pretty smart, and in college studying nursing. But I still can't even convince her that evolution is real.

Any out there who are happily married to someone of another belief system?

Evolution is only the progress of what has been created. They are not mutually exclusive.

And Christians do not hold a monopoly on a belief in creation either. Muslims also believe in creation.

My mother considers herself a pagan, and my stepfather is a Christian. They both get along well but sometimes have difficulty reconciling their differences (at least from what she has told me). Something about him having difficulty with the idea that she isn't going to heaven or something of that nature. *shrugs*
It can work out, but it generally adds more work to the relationship than if the two people have the same/similar beliefs.

I will be honest, here. If I dated someone who viewed differences in dogma/belief system as a deal-breaker, I would not stay with them.

well, for starters, again, i'm a student. i'm not a devotee of the christian tradition and my knowledge thus far tends to pertain to roman and early church history as well as the philosophies that underlie the tradition itself.

being a jew, jesus instructed his followers to follow the ten commandments and express agape - neighborly love - as well as love for the less fortunate if they wanted to enter a heavenly life.

i'll give you a serious response

There is so much more to have a close intimate relationship with someone, than religious belief
systems. Does she know about your beliefs? If she is okay with that, present the option of maybe
giving the kids a taste of both worlds. Sit down and have a serious talk with them when they are old enough to understand. Ultimately it is their choice. not yours.

I would marry someone with different religious affiliation of course! get all hot and riled up over
a debate or something. idk  You obviously still love her, and she loves you. It'll work out.

goodluck :sun::sun::sun:
