The name trimester is implicative of only three.
And there's only about 38 weeks in a regular pregnancy.

Lets see there are three trimesters in a pregnancy and it lasts 9 months so there are 4 trimesters in a year.  That would put 75 trimesters to be the age of 18.  As you may have noticed that is the arbitrarily chosen age at which people are granted pretty much full rights.

You can proffer all of the justifications and obfuscations you want, but we all know that, in the end, you are trying to assuage your own guilt in being a willing conspirator in the murder of a human being.  It is particularly ironic that the arguments in favor of murdering unborn people are those who were not aborted.

Own it.

Sorry, from a scientific and legal perspective it isn't a human being so stop calling a fetus that.
Your argument that those who argue for the choice of abortion were not aborted is filled with logical fallacies and is quite laughable.

The scientific perspective would be to be responsible and choose a form of birth control that doesn't include murdering a defenseless child.  That is what is laughable.  Your casual denial notwithstanding, the scientific thing includes a review of the facts.  Fact: you chose to be irresponsible with your reproductive decisions and now you want to be absolved of being responsible like so many other dirtbags who preceded you.

Own it.  You are what you say and what you do is not something you can wash down the drain while you go on with your life.  There is a lot more there for adults to deal with and murder is murder.  If you insist on being scientific the term for it is homicide.

I respect womens decisions and your rights/liberty to choose what to do with your body.
How, if you do not mind can you ask a human not to include emotion or spirituality when dealing with a human life?
I am perfectly capable, as a trained sceintist, to see the issue from a sceintific perspective.  I get that, totally :-)
However, and I guess this is where the black or white fades to grey; is it that this, a part of you, in my opinion, you choose to destroy?

You might want to brush up on your scientific knowledge... Also there is no point in arguing with you if you refuse to call it what it is and what is the accepted term for it, a fetus, and instead use emotionally charged words. I know in many cases it is easy to let our emotions get in the way of rationality but it is a good skill to be able to separate the two and be able to deploy critical thinking skills when required.

Also cute phrases like "you are what you say and what you do is not something you can wash down the drain while you go on with your life" is meaningless. Insulting people shows nothing more than immaturity. Murder is clearly and legally defined. You might want to read up on the definition of murder, read up on Roe vs. Wade (as I assume you are in the US), and read up what the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has to say about abortion.

Emotion lands on both sides.  Spirituality can only rationally land on one.  Science is kind of irrelevant.

You advocate the abdication of personal responsibility and call me immature.  Only a true liberal could do that.  I wonder how you manage to live with that obvious chink of hypocrisy in your superior intellect.

ORLY?  I am deeply conservative.  Would you like to go rational with me, missy?  Let's start with this postulate.  "Rewarding failure increases the incidence of failure".  Because I can cram a whole shit load of science up that flue.

Huh? He was the one who called me a liberal because I told him he should learn to think critically and rationally instead of emotionally about subjects such as these.. I don't identify as liberal or conservative - besides I am from Canada. I fail to see what my political views have to do with anything though.

That's really rich.  If you learned to actually think critically you wouldn't find yourself having to support unsupportable decisions.  Real critical thinking dictates keeping one's pants on so that this doesn't have to come up for consideration.  Try again.
