100-year-old deathbed dreams of mathematician proved true
    #17460813 -

I hear fox news is kinda bogus but this seems genuine enough to share, a Hindu mathematician said he had mathematical functions that are now shown to be correct revealed to him by the goddess Namagiri

Huh... interesting. Neat to see people get recongnition for the work that they do in their time.

I was looking further into this dude and apparently the Indian Government announced December 22nd as National Mathematics Day in honor of him and his birthday.

thats awesome...im sure the moments before death could be a really creatively and intellectually open time if you are ready for it...sounds like he landed a big one at the last moment :feelsgoodman:

that math went a little beyond my understanding but its cool that he could see from the equations that they looked 'supersymmetrical,' also that its related to string theory

yeah i dont pretend to intellectually understand the math they were talking about, but i got a really great feeling from some of the descriptions there especially the super symmetry and the self replication parts

i think the greatest scientific discoveries are by scientists who study life as if they are studying the mind of God
