So architecture to you, would not be considered a Art form as it has a function beyond the aesthetic?

Mmm...good point. But then the term is arts AND crafts, not arts OR crafts. But I claim to be no expert at this, I remind you....

For the purpose of this debate Duk, I was taking the same definition.  Where art is a crafted piece that's primary function is to represent some beauty or truth.

The idea that something HAS to be one or the other is what seems to cause the major problems.  If you accept that art is craft, that works better but still not perfectly.
