Healthy ways to get your Arson on?
    #17386625 -

It's not about the fire for me, it's about seeing it engulf and destroy something...

Aside from going to Burning Man, what's a (semi)legal way to explore these desires? I've thought about torching small wooden structures that I build, but I don't know where to do it without needing permits or setting off alarms. I'd like to burn cars and barns and things but I don't have enough $ or land to get on that level yet.

:uhoh:

Have you considered a career in the New York garment industry?

My parents own a property in it back Australia, and there is a rubbish dump nearby, when I was much younger, around 12-15, I would take friends out to the property with us and we would go to the tip, find couches , dresser drawers and beds and mattresses as stuff like that , that people would throw out, then we would drag them back to our property where there was a huge dirt patch and no risk of bush fires, and we would just pour metholated spirits on those badboys  and light them up and hope they burned before the smoke caught someone's attention. What a rush that all was..

It was intended to be a joke on the clothier fires that regularly happen when fashions change and the warehouse that stores those garments experience mysterious combustion.

A quick web search revealed this story. I assure you however, that this is still the prevailing business model in mob connected new york, particularly in the garment district.

Maybe you should work for the U.S Government, demolishing buildings with explosives and making it look like terrorism.  Be sure to have a clueless patsy to take the blame for it (you do that by first setting up extremist groups if none exist, or infiltrating/hijacking groups that do exist).  Take a lesson or two from those whose motto is By Deception We Shall Wage War.

If you become really good at it, you might even progress from arsonist to arsonist investigator and get a job answering directly to Michael Chertoff.

Best of luck.
