Don't pretend to be some folk hero bucking the system as a political protest...You just wanna get high.  That's fine and all, but if you want the law changed, there's already a mechanism in place to do that, and it isn't by just ignoring the law.


Note Midnight Toker's location. In Canada, employer drug testing is essentially a non-issue. No need to lobby for new laws, we already have the laws we want here in this regard.

So what?  It doesn't mean it isn't unjust to deny a qualified candidate a job for irrelevant, bigoted, reasons- prejudice against a particular class.

I agree it makes more sense to abstain from drugs like marijuana and maybe switch to heroin so you can avoid the drug tests, or just be abstinant, but that doesn't speak to the morality of the action.

That they can does not mean they should, and this pissing on people for voluntary choices seems kind of mean anyways.  Seldom do I meet people who aren't the authors of their own station in life, to a greater or lesser extent.  Kind of besides the point as to how they should be treated.

Mean or not, i may not like being around golfers...whether it's fair or not to golfers doesn't matter.  In the end, i can choose to hire someone less qualified because they don't golf...If the guy across the street hires a bunch of highly qualified golfers and runs me out of business because i am less competitive...those are the consequences of my choice.

If you're highly qualified, you're probably in a position to get more slack...If not, you should probably figure out how to maximize your chances in a competitive job market.

Yes, but so what?  I agree with all this.  Perhaps you overstated your position, but your not defending what I criticized.

yep, and its still stupid for an employer to make hiring decision based on prejudices that aren't accurate.  Its also pretty shitty. 

I wonder the business wisdom of those kinds of decisions, but that isn't really my place to question.

but I get the feeling it was because the person conducting the test didn't give a shit. These days I go with the quick fix.

On a side note why does every thread boil down to enlil whining like a jew about stupid shit. I've got a feeling if everyone just ignored him, he'd shut the fuck up.

Pro tip: quit for a couple weeks and freeze your own piss so you don't have to ask for someones per and you don't have to pay for the fake shit, which might not work.

I never said anything about a condom. That's just a horrible idea. I use a small plastic bottle with a spout top that is about the size of a travel shampoo. The bottle was from church and originally had "holy" water in it. lol


No, a condom is a great idea. You can easily bring piss to the appropriate temperature by squeezing it around in your hand.  Just do some practice rounds with water. Oh yeah, get the magnums.
