question about tests(not the usual)

Hello. I was just wondering, when I read the threads I see many has to take urine tests for drugz. Is this really so common? I have moved to canada to study and they did tests but not drug tests.
well so for what kinda stuff do they make you take tests. for school, job applications, dont know whatever.

Hope someone can clear me out on this one

in the us a lot of jobs will drug test you as part of the hiring process as part of a scheme to promote a drug-free work environment.. a lot of people take urine tests for court ordered stuff, obviously.. i've never had one at a school. :shrug:

Depending on what industry you're in, you have to take a drug test to get a job.

I took a drug test yesterday and miraclously passed and got the job.

I am specializing in environmental politics. (I think of working for Grassroot movements), also connected to north-south issues.
would it be an issue then, if I was in this "industry"

Yeah it depends what they'd want to do to you once they found out that you are a drug user, they might castrate yyou or maim and mutilate you in another way, but you definetly will be raped.

way too slow.

I don't think you have to worry in your industry, but you'll know ahead of time.

Unless you smoke pot every day for a long time, you don't have to worry much (for a piss test - hair tests are different) - small amouts of pot or any other drug will probably be out of your system in a few days.

I use to smoke weed 3 times a day when I was in high school and when I knew that I was going to get piss tested I stopped for a month and passes. I smoked a ton so I know that a month is definently long enough.

this "counselor" i had (for court stuff) at one time kept telling me that pot stayed (detectable) in your system for 30-45 days after smoking it just once...i argued and argued but he wouldnt budge.

30 days is the longest it'll stay in your system, i had a drug test yesterday and I didn't smoke for probably 24 hrs and it was killing me, I msoke well over an ounce a week, and i still passed this test, i just drank alot of water all weekend, and 3 liters yesterday through out the morning and popped a few golden seals.

oh i know it can last 30 days (if you smoke a good amount for a period of time)...but a month and a half from a joint? come on :thumbdown:

i found out a drug called urovet i think that was the name, will clean your system in 24 hours. i was given this when i tried to join the army, and i came up very dirty on my drug test. the recruter said lets not talk about it, just eat these pills, one every 4 hours for 24 hours. the next day i went back, and came up perfectly clean. of course my liver hurt like a bitch from those pills, and it made my piss a un natural golden neon color. i work for kaiser permanente, a huge HMO. they did not drug test, or at any point do they drug test. then again i have gone to shity jobs that mean nothing, and was drug tested, like at Home Depot.

i know some southern cali schools started drug testing anyone who played sports. Mostly the foot-ball team, and basket-ball teams. if you failed you got a warning, then had to re-test in 6 weeks, and have the chance for random tests after that. i think they wanted to make it a policy for the schools to have the right to randomly drug test any students, but that idea never got very far..

they have detox drinks at most nutrition stores, GNC for sure, and a lot of head shops. You drink that along with a shitload of water and you'll be clean for sure in 24 hours.

I think the western civilization is near a collapse regarding the drug issue. if they have come to the situation that they are testing people for work, this means they are really paranoid. the system clearly accepts this reality and what it does is getting inside the system. maybe?

Golden seals are a waste of money, it has been proven over and over and over again. You get the same effect drinking a shitload of water. For the emit and the dip stick test you can just drink a lot of water and probably (keyword probably) pass. If they use the GCMS, which is much more expensive so isn't used as often and generally just used to verify a positive result, it can generally tell your sample is watered down to the the low ph, creatine levels and other stuff. You're #1 bet is to smuggle in clean piss (or don't smoke...), otherwise a short term cleanout, say 6-14 days, is to exercise like a mofo for like 7 days, burn as much fat as possible, then don't do a damn thing but eat fatty foods until you pee for the man (oh and don't smoke during this period). Less than that you better start chugging water. This past summer I got popped with a hair follicle test for Kraft.. and lemme tell ya - the shampoo is NOT a gaurantee by any means.
