Dunk Tek (For first timers?)

Hi, AFOAF of mine is growing for the first time and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to use the dunk tek to expeirment a little. He would probably only try it on 2 jars.
So if anyone has anything to share about this please do so.

Dunk and cold shock all your jars IMO. No failures yet, from uber-noobism to my current semi-noob state.
