best temp for fruting is between 70-75 degrees i believe.

as for lighting, any light should work, and a couple hours a day will do them well.

1: What are you fruiting? (Cakes, casing?) For the most part any room temp is fine though temps between 72-80 F are optimal.
2: During the fruiting stage, esspecially during the later stages, light really only serves as a point of direction for the fugi to grow towards. A couple hours a day is all my buddy uses, though I've seen reports of folks allowing up to 12 hours/day.
A desk lamp is cool, but a bulb high in the blue spectrum serves your purpose better.

fruiting in the mid to upper 70's is good and 60 watt flourescent or incandescent light is fine for initiating pinning...

Incubator for germination of jars=> check the FAQ's for instructions, it's very easy.
Optimum Rh for cakes is 100% or as close to that as you can get. If your using perlite, low humidity should not be an issue. Low watage blue aquarium lights work well, though my buddy uses a 75 watt desk lamp and it works fine. Good luck bud, no worries.

Take a look at the FAQ's. Most everything you need to know is there.  Seek and Ye shall find.

Lil_K,

This Link might be useful to you......Shows the various necessary growth parameters at various stages, like temp for fruiting etc.

My buddy has used perlite on numerous occasions and has found that a couple of days without fanning, while not recommended, will not harm your crop, though it might effect your yield. Maybe, a Trusted Friend...

>i will not have the ability to fan them 2-3 times a day on the weekends! what should i do!

Nothing. Don?t fan them. P. cubensis is a very forgiving species.

I'm pretty-anal about cleanliness and anything that I know may have an adverse effect. BTW, If your container is completly covered, which it should be, a fan would do nothing for air exchange anyway. If its just the weekend you need not worry.
