I remember how it used to make my mouth numb as hell..... I was a dope addict at the time, so trying to catch a buzz off of it was a joke... But it did have a quite nice "medicinal" taste.

my thoughts are it would be a waste of 15k & put me back in jail
no idea how it would mix with psyches
i can see it increasing a trip & decreasing a trip
which exactly,  i havent a clue
goes great with weed though (but what doesnt?)
if it does increase any trips i would guess it would most likely increase the effects of 2C's more than others psyches because it effects the same part of the brain as alcohol & alcohol dramatically imcreases effects from 2C
(which has been the opposite of other psyches in my experience)

i would say its similar to both alcohol & benzos but much more clear headed & doesnt make you black out & do stupid shit

I might have to check it out.  I've heard people describe gymnopilus like a psilo/kava mix.  Sucks you have to down so much.  Think there's any use in making a tea, and reducing it to up the strength?

You can certainly make your own extracts fairly simply
I dunno about reducing a tea though
I plan on using coconut oil for my first extraction
what is gymnopilus? i thought that was a name of a strain of mushies but you make it sound like a strain of kava?

i forgot to mention this earlier
but kava also helps out with sleep & increases the vividness of dreams
with no weed but still drinking kava i have been excited to go to sleep lately :datass:
just about that time too

however
it tends to make a nights sleep feel like it lasted about 5 minutes at the same time :lol:

It's a kind of mushroom.

From wikipedia. : Several species of Gymnopilus contain bis-noryangonin [4-hydroxy-6-(4-hydrostyryl)-2-pyrone] and hispidine [4-hydroxy-6-(3,4-dihydroxystyryl)-2-pyrone], which are closely related to the alpha-pyrones found in kava.[6]

like i mentioned before it certainly has a major increase in the effects of music
i wonder if thats what it means by similarities or if its the body high or relaxation that is similar?

Well gyms are like a chill relaxed less stressful cube.  Visuals seem to be a little better too.  A good sense of well being etc. so that's basicly where I'm going with this, maybe taking some concentrated shots of kava next time my woods decide to offer up some more gymnopilus and see how it interacts.  Maybe a little kratom added too, sounds like it would be a winner.

i personally try to not drink kava until night but also always felt paranoid about mixing it with 2C & DOx (which are the only 2 psyches I have been taking throughout this year) since i could never find any information on the combination
i would assummeeee its safe
but i dunno

I hope not
I know there was a big warning years ago that was recently lifted about kava causing liver damage but it was attributed to contaminations on plants being imported
I can't imagine its any worse than what alcohol does
but yeah
maybe i should reconsider dailllly

Kratom seems to have all the negative side effects of perscription opiates
