Kava has never really gotten me good because its too hard for me to drink in massive amounts :frown:

drinking kava sucks bad, but works. i used to do it. take the extract capsules. it's like being drunk but retaining your coherency.

You have to get the powdered kava root. I have a 1 lb bag of kona kava from Hawaii. I mix like 3 or 4 heaping tablespoons into some milk and drink the whole thing straight. I used to strain out the powder but it doesn't work nearly as well.

Very similar to 3-5 drinks of alcohol except way cooler. I got used to the taste so it doesn't bother me anymore.

I've had the Kava tea, but found it too be like any other tea.

Is it comparible to kratom?  Still haven't tried that, but it's on my list.

I remember partaking in kava ceremonies that lasted for quite a while in Fiji. I was pissing like a racehorse but I got a mild high. The effect was pleasant but not really worth the immense volume (7-8 bowls.) The Fijians say the best way to wake up early is to drink lots of kava the night before, because you'll wake up in the morning with your bladder about ready to burst.

i got my fiance the tea, he drinks like.... 3-5 mugs to feel something. he kind of likes the taste too. i've been meaning to find some actual powder.....
