Handicaps that have no mobility issues...
    #16869857 -

Okay, what is this I'm seeing lately?  I've been seeing an ever-increasing number of mobile handicaps, who have a handicap sticker on their car, but get out and can obviously walk fine.  I was walking behind some girl who got out of her car and had a handicap sign and was able to walk up stairs, walk at a brisk pace, etc.
I even had a roommate who had a handicap sign and she admitted that she didn't need it at all, she was just using it so she could park easier.

What the fuck is up with this?  Is it fair to actual handicaps?  Blows my mind.  And not in the magical way
:mindblown:

You know what really pissed me the fuck off?  When I had torn my ACL, had a giant knee brace on and some fat cunt would waddle past me as quickly as she could to steal the god damn electric shopping cart.  I'd always stand right in the way of them with the fuckin' crutches out so they couldn't get past.  When they'd get up set I'd ask them if they had a torn fucked up ACL.  Fat slobs of society need to die of heart attacks.

Fuck that shit! God damn I swear to christ, I'm going to leave this country one day. What's sad (but kinda cool, I guess) is that I only work out maybe 5-6 hours a week, and that makes me be in probably the top 5% in the country.

I think I look and walk fine, can only do it for like 30 minutes or so, and can't get one but it's fucking agony.

15ish years ago I had a temporary one because of some genetic heart issue. It eventually kinda fixed itself but these days, apparently obesity by choice is a handicap.

Just be careful what you assume.  Because someone has a handicap placket and their disability is not  are not outwardly obvious doesn't mean that they are abusing the system or that they do not benefit from a handicap spot in a way that an able-bodied person would not.

True but when I've already talked to a girl who had a handicap sign admit she didn't need one, I'm far more judgemental on that shit.  At least fake a limp damnit.  If they can walk and don't have a mobile issue, what would the problem be that requires them to HAVE to take that front row parking?

Some people use a permit that's for someone else, which is illegal here and I assume in other places too. There are also people who are able to walk for a short distance but that's it. As to how your friend got a permit if she doesn't need it, I guess she would know more about that than anyone.

Yup. Have a relative who's had some health issues related to blood cancer (thankfully in complete remission now) and for the most part he looks fit and healthy for his age but if he's walking more than a few hundred yards he gets short of breath and needs to sit down.

I qualify for a handicapped plate/tag. You wouldn't know it most days, but there are days it's obvious I'm in pain.

I don't have one because there are others that need it far more than me.

Yes, it pisses me off when I'm aware people are scamming the system.

I didn't know that.

I know you've mentioned your wicked-bad cluster head-aches before.

Is that what you're talking about, or something different?

Just idly curious, if I'm prying you don't need to answer.

Idunno, if someone does have issues then that's fine, but when I walk across an entire campus and can't keep up with the person, then it's like :stonedjerk:

People with legit disabilities deserve the help and all... But again kind of like the cart thing in at supermarkets.  You always see these fat lazy fucks sitting on it.  Okay maybe their body aches from their own weight...  Let's blow their knee out and see what hurts worse though.

I understand people with "unseen" disabilities that need to park closer, that's all good. But OP's roommate who used the sticker just to park easier sounds like a lazy piece of turd dust. I can't stand people like that.

Sorry about your accident shrooms, that sounds really intense. Amazing that you can walk after that, though.

Yeah I think the last few times I rode the greyhound I got on the bus and was overrun. Once we make our first stop this fat woman gets on and sits next to me which at first is no big deal. The problem was that her fat roles were flapping over on my leg and smashing me so I had to re adjust myself, after doing this for a while the fat woman decided to ask me to change seats. This really bothered me because why couldnt she change seats.

 My mom had a handicap sticker after she had her neck surgery.

She was waiting in the car outside wal mart when I went in, and I casually walked to the car and some old lady was like..

"Why do you have a sticker if you're fine?! Some people need that spot!!! You should be ashamed!!!"

I was like :horly:

Then my mom got out of the car, and the lady was like "Sorry."

and walked away.

:snoop:

That's right bitches... I use my mom to get good parking!
