Nasal Polyp!!

Last night i sneezed out what i thought was my tonsil or a piece of meat
shit freaked me out, it was HUGE i mean huuuuuuge not normal for something like that to come out of my nose

anyone had any of these nasty things?

i took a pic ill post soon

A polip is a growth of live tissue. If you were to 'squeeze' one out (which is anatomically impossible without using a small pair of scissors), you'd have a significant nosebleed.

Sounds like you basically had a large and tough bit of snot coming out of there. I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago, after suffering from a bit of a cold. My nose produced a fascinating, almost gristle-like and relatively big piece of snot. Very interesting, but not a polip :wink:

I heard it was just dead heavy cells from the sinus that accumulate at the bridge of the nose.

i went to google images and everything it matched the description 100%
it had bloody veins through it, so disgusting

Oh ok, I thought a polip was a growth, a bit similar to a wart, but growing on a mucous membrane in a body cavity.

All I know is that removing nasal polips involves anesthetics, sharp instruments and lots of cotton wool that is yanked out a week (or two) after surgery, completely soaked in wound fluids.
