Come to think of it... I don't even play an instrument but I think that instrumental metal is probably the only type of band I would ever really be a part of.

Oh pelican is one of my all time favorites. Seen them a couple times and it's always sooo good. Same with Red Sparowes. Never heard of Mono but I'm on it right now !

Haha yeah I picked up Crumb a couple years back on dvd at a secondhand shop in town, it's a pretty good look at his life and how fucked up the family was. An older musician friend of mine who was a veteran acid eater and at one point a punkrock drummer turned me onto the Serenaders because we'd always get together and try to top each other for off the wall music. Give em a listen sometime, they're pretty good. The only album I had was Chasin' Rainbows, but I really loved it.

A drug I dislike because of all the reports of the wicked shit that does to peoples' bodies is that krocodil shit in the Ukraine. I've never even been anywhere near within a thousand miles of it and I dislike it.

I've heard nosecandy is the shit, but I have a heart condition so I'm not sure it's the drug for me. I've always wanted to find a fat lump of opium though.

cocaine seems like a good idea maybe once or twice a year or two years, then i figure out why i don't like to do it often. i'm always drinking when i do it and it always keeps me up for a nasty hangover. getting too old for all that. i'm not sure there would be any scenario where i'd find myself around meth heads again much less doing it. i have no inclination to try salvia, which is one of the few things i haven't tried outside some obscure rc's and the nbome's (which i do want to try).

i typically turn down weed too, but that's because i get quiet on it and i'd rather stay in the conversation. i'll smoke it or a blend when i know i have some time to myself.

cocaine is super cheap in texas and i'm sure the rest of the south and southwest. it's good here but even then it's just kinda meh to me.
