soaking bird seed in peroxide! would it help?

what if some one was doing a large amount of bird seed and rinsed it good and soaked it in lets say 25 % peroxide and the rest worm water. would that kill everything before u pc it? or will it do someting and make the bird seed not useable for some reason? i know i can put it on bird seed when doing grain transfer. but sometimes bird seed can be hard to work with. i was just thinking of a way to improve thats all.

by the way i forgot to add that of course u wouldnt be injecting SPORES in it. i was thinking of honey water?

No, most of the peroxide will be broken down before it will actually kill EVERYTHING. It will still help though, im sure.

Either way, it will still work. I have done this many times when I used birdseed. I did it to help remove all the junk and sunflower seeds. Using the peroxide it would make most of the stuff float to the top, with the white and red millet staying on the bottom. I could easily skim off the stuff on the surface, leaving me with a much cleaner mix. Also, the heat of the PC will help to break down the peroxide further, allowing use of spores. I was successful using it in this manner, but I cannot say with any degree of accuracy if it actually helped the sterility of the jars.
