Multiple injuries and aches - Something to worry about?
    #15933448 -

Hi

I have a number of problems that have come on in the past few years. First I hurt my upper back through lifting badly. Physiotherapy has helped this to 90% of recovery.

I also injured my right knee, I don't know how exactly. Physiotherapy has not worked and I believe my ankle and other knee now hurt as a result of overcompensating.

I have RSI in my right-hand wrist from computer use. Physiotherapy and occupational health have not fixed the problem. Having an X-Ray or MRI soon. My left-hand thumb also hurts from poor drum technique.

Both my big toes are starting to hurt all the time. My big toes grow inwards, which is what's brought on the pain I imagine. I have yet to seek medical advice for this.

I've had one blood test but am unsure what they would have checked for. I do know they tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis though, but my results were clear.

Do you guys think there might be a major problem? I'm worried i may have some kind of degenerative disease or something. I'm only in my mid-20s and scared that these pains aren't going to go away.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Maybe you need surgery on your knee?  You need to take the injuries one at a time.  You probably don't have a degenerative disease, but I'm not doctor, I can't say for sure.

Personally, I've had surgery on both my knees and my right shoulder.  My knees have made a 95%+ recovery, and I'm still on the healing phase for the shoulder, but I hope I can get it to 90%+.

My body kinda sucks in that way too - what are you gonna do.  Make do with what you have.  If you need surgery, then do it - IMO it's worth it.

Your falling apart... Yes, it is something to worry about... Your young and looking at going through life in pain and addicted to opiates... I wish the best for you.
