You wish it were that simple. Bush will be back for four more.

Why? Not because he's a great president, he has his faults. He'll be back because the US is finally making the swing back to common sense. He'll be back because the alternative is even worse.

People are finally getting tired of the so called "issues" put forth by the left. I suspect, and hope, we have seen our last Democratic President and last Democratically led Congress for a very long time.

Oh yeah. I just love what the republicans have done to our country in the last few years. I just love seeing liberties tossed out the window left and right. If they keep it up, at this rate, we won't even have a bill of rights in another five years. Well at least we'll still have our big tax cut which does jack shit for me. I think it's time for another lee harvey oswald.

Bush will beat Saddam again as he got only 99% of the votes in the last Iraq elections - I bet Bush will get more then 100%. :grin:

Although I would love to see Bush out of office, I'm not convinced that the Democrats have anything better to offer. They are both brutally corrupt parties...

I just feel that Bush is really pushing towards the destruction of humanity... He likes war...

Also there are a lot of people in the world who absolutely hate his guts...I feel much more scared living in the US than I ever did before...I feel terrorist attacks are only because they are scared of Bush...being scared creates some irrational thinking. Pre-emtive strikes aren't the smartest of all ideas either.

Using that logic, explain the African Embassy bombings that took place under clinton. Actually, using that logic, explain 9/11. Certaintly the "terrorists" weren't scared of Bush before then, and they weren't having the "irrational thinking" you described, but they still attacked. Interesting.
And pre-emptive strikes makes suer that their are no terror training camps in Iraq, or no WMD's. Before we kicked Saddams ass, we weren't sure of this, now we are. We are safer because of that. If some mass-murdering dictator got deposed or killed in the process, i'm certaintly not going to cry my eyes out about it. If we get some oil and money from it, I won't be crying about that either.

What logic are you talking about? The person is stating thier feelings how can you use feelings as logic? You are ignorant to eat that "pre-emtive" bullshit that is shoved down your throat....hell you don't even know the differance between iraq and binladen. In the words of your own government they had nothing to do with each other. Bin laden was the excuse for 9/11, and saddam the justification for invasion of a repressed people...and/or weapons of mass destruction.

Azmo - The claim that he first stated was that he is scared with bush in charge, and that "terrorist attacks are only because they are scared of Bush". Now, this sets up what in logic (yes, thats a real branch of philosophy, obviously you weren't aware of that) is called a "warrant". He is stateing that, in his belief, terrorism is caused by the fear that Bush strikes into other nations. Now, if we use that basis of logic, we'd see that before Bush, the same terror organiztaion that attacked us on 9/11 has previously attacked US interests, even when Bush (the supposed threat that caused them to attack) was not in office. His warrant, when reduced to a causal relationship, is obviously incorrect. CAn you honestly not see that? I'm sure your local community college offers classses such as "introdution to logic". I'm not trying tobe rude, but I think that class would help you out alot. Logic is a foundation of principles and his post didn't follow them. As for pre-emptive strikes, I couldn't care less if we carpet bombed the entier middle east (minus israel), took every drop of oil they had, and let the monkeys roam the deserts fucking camels, as they had done before they realized that they had oil to sell to us.
