All sorts of different birds chirping outside. Is this an indicator of Springtime?

I'm up every day around this time and for the first time I am hearing all sorts of different birdcalls...

Is this possibly the start of Spring after the most mild Winter I have ever seen in NY?

I'm assuming yes

Sadly, I am kinda serious. It has been a while since I have heard multiple sounding birdcalls in the morning.

Well in NC it means spring is coming or there is some spring like weather going on. When the robins show up here and the daffodils start blooming I know spring is coming but there will be spring like weather with some cold weather mixed in. I've been seeing birds return that have been gone all winter like woodpeckers, geese, and robins. The squirrels and birds are looking fat so I know babies are on the way. If you pay attention to nature you will know when spring is coming. If I am up and outside around 6:30 am there are tons of birds flying around and chirping.

I don't know where in NY you are but where I am, it's supposed to be 68 degrees tomorrow. Goodbye Winter!
