AA pressure cooker toggle valves leaking, advice please

my all americans toggle valve is leaking i have about an hour left on my 9 rye jars inside

its not leaking so bad that im losing pressure but its leaking enough to knowtest little blurbs of steam sound about every three seconds

probably bout time to replace it where can i get one? or is there a simple fix like take it apart and clean it?

dnt want to explode lol

Leave it be until after the cycle and its cooled down.  You'll notice the toggle valves are knurled so you can take them apart by hand without tools.  You're supposed to disassemble and clean them every few cycles of the sterilizer.  Yours probably has a bit of minerals from the water under the seat.

yup finish your run then take it apart and give it a good scrubbing.

I find that my toggle valve will let out little puffs intermittently once i get it into the 15-20 psi range and above, take the little releases like that as a sign that its trying to help you NOT blow yourself up. if your blowoff gasket is in working condition you should have nothing blatantly serious on your hands ever, just take good care of the few small parts that make up the AA's and you'll be good
