a yearning to capture infinity whilst finite

I would say taste infinity, as I'm not convinced infinity is something that can be possessed.

I was saying the same thing  that it can not be captured/possessed, a yearning is usually for what you desire but can not seem to make possible

The very act of creation in my view stems from infinity trying to capture itself but of course its infinity so it can not be captured, so it creates endlessly, that's the feeling i get

Quote:
This desire to reside in infinity, even if for a moment, is compelling.

To say the least...

When talking about Infinity i think its important to not forget that infinity can not be one millimetre from your own awareness

If you saw 'infinity' infront of you, it could not be infinity as infinity can not fit into some 'thing' that's perceived by you, we like fractals etc... but those are like reflections of infinity, not infinity itself.

The more you penetrate the depths of your own mind & its identifications with psychology, meditation, psychedelics etc the closer it feels you get to infinity, but the feeling of 'closer' is only within the mind, in reality there can be no 'closer', you are it.

Don't accept anything less for one second, 'residing in infinity' is a human birthright

Thanks Chronic, I love it when someone puts it into words like that.
