The fate of the universe depends on Omega0- true mass/critical mass. ("Einstein's Blunder") if Omega0 = 1, then the universe will expand to its critical mass, then stop. there will be matter, then an invisible border, then empty space. if Omega0<1, then the universe will expand to its true mass then collapse on itself. if Omega0>1 then it will expand infinitely like said above, and everything's all far apart and dead and dark.
Omega0=1 value corresponds to mass/light ~1500 x 10 to the -29th g/cm3. wow, that really doesn't mean much to me. heh. from my Physical Universe course last semester i learned at the end that there is Obviously so much undiscovered and unidentified matter and physics in the universe. the most effective way to detect Dark Matter (think black hole) is to align a dark object with a distant bright object behind it so the dark object will BEND light. so, uh, not a whole lot goin for IDing dark matter.
ah jeez. its summer and i have my friggin school notes in my lap. shoot me

YUP.

Question:
How come everyone here has conspicuously avoided the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle?
hmmm.... interesting....

Was going to mention it, but was uncertain how to present my ideas.

Are you familiar with WUSSUP? (Web Universal Strong Swami Uncertainty Principle)This principle states that the more uncertain you are about a subject, the more likely you are to give a strong opinion on it.

perhaps the ultimate fate of our universe does not depend on physics or maths, but more emotions and thoughts? perhaps, the universe will keep on expanding untill such time as the total love expressed in the universe is below a certain level. untill such a time as people everywhere truely love everything then it will be a cold dark lonely place.

sorry for being a hippie... i can't help it! i think i was one last life.....

well come on then, tell us about the heisenberg uncertainty principle. i'm probably not alone in having heard of it several years ago while at university and since forgotten....

Get a physics book... you CAN just go to a bookstore or library and look it up real quick. Or search the web. Or search my old posts (>6 months ago).
I never offered to teach anyone anything... I just asked a question that is, as usual, still unanswered.

If I sound like a dick... it's only because I am one.

you said it swamiji! a dick, that's what he is.

i looked up that uncertainty principle thing though, remembered what i'd forgotten, and yeah it's kind of tough to explain thoroughly.

Many functions of space seem to be similar to the functions of the brain

Where the ions in our brains are sending frequencies to other ions.
As the stars send their frequencies through space.

Black holes condense matter and change it to plasma sending it to other parts of the universe.

Neural transmitters condense a chemical reaction and send it shooting through a passage.
Solar wind sends space matter shooting through space at high speeds, some of it hits our jelly like atmosphere and its energy is converted.
and some of it goes around our planet, perhaps to other locations in the universe.

Gases in outter space are shaped to form realistic images of people

Clouds in our atmosphere seem to have an imagination of its own.

Life on earth is a bunch of actions and reactions
Space is actions and reactoins

Are they connected?

Terribly inaccurate comparisons. I'd say that there are probably many similarities between the different cosms of this universe... I think you missed them all in that post.

in quantum mechanics, the more you tryto define the mass of a subatomic paticle the less you know about its position and direction of movement, the more you know about the position and direction of a subatomic paticle, the less you know about its mass

throw away your physics books
read gary zukav's
the dancing wu li masters
quite goog a unifying quantum mechanic principles with eastern spiritual thought

i havent read that book, but have you read "the tao of physics" ? its very interesting, blends eastern thought with physics, im not done with it cause ive been dealing with my fiance hahaha. been dealing with the feelings caused by my fiance, really.

sad to see that my intrest for the unknown detours for love that apparently doenst want it.

oh well, such is life
