Verify with the inmate that they entered your email address properly. Pay special attention to the spelling of addresses and domain names (.com, .net, etc.). Many mail clients have filters to protect users from spam and viruses. Once you have verified the inmate entered your correct email address, you should check your junk mail folder to see if a filter diverted the message.


What can I do if the identification code provided in my system-generated email is not accepted by CorrLinks?

Check the email date, the invitation to accept an inmate's communication is only valid for 10 days. If the 10 days has expired the inmate will need to re-add the contact request, thus generating a new identification code. If the invitation to accept an inmate's communication is still active, contact CorrLinks support.

Not cooperating with authorities could have meant one of two things, either there was no names to give because he was innocent, or he was living by rule #1, don't snitch on your friends (even when being snitched on).

But if he was living by the code (and I'm not saying he was) then the people who he spared, and are now free and living the good life, they should really be donating mass amounts of money to get this guy out. Sort of sad if they are just letting him take the fall, for life.

This is a good point, but there are a few things, 1. Rudd never said he was or was not "innocent" - BUT he was basically kidnapped by the government and I for one did not even know where he went. I was a little pissed off for a while, because he owed me some money (SEE how it goes???? Never make assumptions!), THEN I find this out one day just browsing the net, I cannot tell you my terror at reading the court document I found, I didn't even know his real name, but the court paper work said AKA "Rudd" and I contacted him and sure enough

SO that being said, not everyone may even KNOW what happened. I didn't know for 3 years or more I believe...maybe more...

As for the guys who snitched - one is dead (no he wasn't killed because of this, I have no idea how he died). But think of the irony, this guy snitches to save his own skin, but if he had been a man and done his time, maybe he would still be alive today (like maybe he got run over by a drunk driver, he wouldn't have been in that exact spot if he was in jail for a few years, now he's dead. Karma is a bitch). Not sure on the others...
