Re: quick azure question

i tell you what, cardboard sucks. Heres what you gotta do. Get legit azure spores. Then start them on agar,do one transfer to anopther petri, from there you have two options. 1 you can make a mycelium syringe and start it on a 1/3 grain 2/3 saw dust mix, or 2 once the agar is fully colonized you can put fresh alder saw dust on top the agar and the mycelium will run through it then use that to spawn more alder. I opt for the first but it take work and a lil skill. Funny thing is, i just had about 30+ cubic feet of wood chips dropped off at my house so i shall have a nice sized azure patch next fall.

Cool. If you make a huge patch, make sure you can easily reach all areas of the patch for picking. Make trails down through it with only about 4 feet of patch between. I didn't do this and I have a terrible time stretching and leaning over trying to get those shrooms deep inside the patch. It always tweaks my back and just pisses me off in general. I curse at the shrooms just out of reach, mocking me.
