Quick temperature question (post-invitro)

Hey guys, got a quick question I'd LOVE to see answered I'm using a terrarium with 1" wet perlite in the bottom, so the humidity is just about 95%. No problems there My question comes with temperature, my house is usually pretty cold (65-70 degrees F) so I have a heating pad below the terrarium which keeps the temperature just at 78 degrees. Is that about adequate? I'm using a combo of Ecuador and Thailand Lipa Yais, can anyone tell me the optimal temperature for the terrarium? I'm sure a day at cool tempreatures would aid pinning, but I've heard that the thailand strains grow better in warmer temperatures.... I'd just like a good temp to work for, I have a very accurate thermometer. Thanks guys, Grover

78 is good; 82 is optimal. Make sure the heating pad doesn't dry out the perlite.

Thanks Schiznitz, you've become a good asset to the Shroomery. Not many people can whip up 600 posts in 4 months without lots of crap spamming :) Anyways, 82 is good? I'm not too worried about the perlite drying out, I overwatered it accidentally so it's got a good start. Also, I'll check it and probably fan it at least twice a day becuase I'm sure the heating pad will help the water evaporate faster and I don't want 100% humidity of course Grover

No problemo farmer... Yeah, my # of posts has increased a fair amount the last 2 months, mainly because I have had so much free time at work lately, so I log on here, and answer any questions I can. Also, I think that I have benefited from reading all these posts; I have learned many new things about mushrooms...
